Happy Holidays!!!

Ok, so we're a little late (21 days) but we sincerely hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with all things happy!
While the holiday season truly is the most wonderful time of the year it happens to be the most busy, stressful, chaotic time of the year as well! So, yeah, I've been a little busy and am guilty of neglecting my blog! Sorry blog!
This is the short version of our Christmas.
Santa!

Treats!

Ornaments, pajamas and Santa circles on Christmas Eve

Three excited kids on Christmas Morning!

Smiles, laughter and the love of family and friends!

Daisey's first Piano Recital

Daisey has been taking piano lessons from Grandma Marilyn for the last few months. She's really taken off with it and we're sure proud of her! She had her first piano recital last month and she did great!

Happy Birthday Isaac!

Our little man cub turned SEVEN on the thirteenth of December!

You know, you always hear people say "kids grow up so fast" and "where does the time go?", but until it's actually happening to you right before your very eyes you can't possibly understand the truth of comments like that. I start to get all teary eyed when I think about how that tiny blue bundle of joy (it seems like it was just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital)is getting so big! So, we're not going to go there right now!
But I do want to say that I am very proud of the handsome little man that Isaac has become! He's just a fun, happy all around good guy and we're lucky to have him in our family.
This year he chose to have a cowboy party with BOYS ONLY! But I was lucky enough to be included because I'm the "Mom Cowboy!"
All the cowboys were invited to "put on their boots and scoot on over to our house for a rootin' tootin' good time!" When they arrived they were each given a cowboy hat and bandanna.

We made cowboy vests out of paper grocery bags.

We played "Pin the Tail on the Donkey".

We played "Pop the Pig".

We ate yummy cowboy cupcakes.

And I even got them to hold still enough to take a picture!

I'd say it was a success! Sheriff Isaac was one happy cowboy!

Naughty! But cute...but Naughty!

Look who decided to cut her hair AGAIN! This is after Mommy fixed it.

I felt like I was taking mug shot photos. And I might as well have been because she's in trouble! And naughty!

But cute!

Gobble Gobble!

I hope all our family and friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving! There's just something about celebrating this day of thanks with family and friends, enjoying good food and good times with the ones you love.
We spent our Thanksgiving Day with Robert's family. The kids are always thrilled to see their cousins! While the adults were busy cleaning up after dinner the grandchildren were busy loving Grandpa George!

As if getting together as a family wasn't fun enough, we had the added bonus of enjoying this....

Yes, my friends, Robert grew a moustache. Why you ask? Well, the plan was to grow the moustache to mock his older brother, Sean but I think most of the mockery landed on himself! And no, it doesn't tickle when he kisses me with it because I refuse to kiss him with it!

So we've established that I, his wife did not care for the moustache, however my children were quite impressed with it, so much so they wanted their own.

For the record, it's chocolate frosting!
On Sunday night we celebrated Thanksgiving again with my family. More food and fun for us! My favorite part was these chubby Noah legs! I love this boy!

I love the whole bunch of them, in fact! My parents now have 8 grandchildren including my 3. It's so much fun to get them all together! After dinner we made turkey cupcakes, not cupcakes with turkey in them (that would be gross)but cupcakes that looked like turkeys. They were cute and yummy.

And we can't have a family get together without games. This time the game was Spoons. Val lost. But not without injuring people first!

Mom! I just want my old hair back!

We had to cut off a whole lot to get rid of the black but he's a happy man cub!

First Snowmen of the Season!

So we haven't got a lot of snow but I'm not complaining! Look how cute and small they are!
