We spent the day at the American West Heritage Center a couple weekends ago for their annual "Baby Animal Days" program. I am just now getting around to posting about it, but these photos of the kids are just too cute not the post! They were able to pet all sorts of farm animals, ride ponies, go on a wagon ride and eat all kinds of yummy treats! If they'd had their way I think they would have spent the night there!

April Fools!!
In the Family Fun magezine this month I found a recipe for "fauxberry pie". It was a strawberry whipped cream looking pie that was actually made of meat loaf and pink mashed potatoes!
After a day filled with, "Mom! There's a spider on your head......April Fools!!" I feel like I got them pretty good with this dinner prank! They were thrilled to be having pie for dinner! The looks on their faces were absolutely priceless when they took a big bite of their meatloaf tasting "fauxberry pie"!
We love Aunt Melanie!!
The week after Easter Britt's sister, Melanie came to visit from Seattle. We don't get to see her much, so the kids mauled her and her dog, Bean with their hugs and kisses while she was here! One week of Melanie love just wasn't enough! We'll miss her!
Happy Easter!
It's always a lot of fun to experience the holidays through the eyes of your children. And Easter was no exception. The kids woke up on Easter morning bouncing off the walls and ready to see what the Easter Bunny had left for them. It was fun to see how excited Maggie got over looking for eggs with her brother and sister!
We went to church with our new Easter outfits and our bellies filled with sugar! I'm not sure how we made it through sacrament meeting, but I was happy to hear all about Jesus and His "res-election" after primary.
Grandma Marilyn and Aunt Valerie came over for dinner that evening....mmm, ham and mashed potatoes! It was a good day!
