Crazy Hair Day 2009!

Today was crazy hair day at Daisey and Isaac's school. They've been so excited about it! And as you can see we had a lot of fun. Maggie wants to do anything and everything her brother and sister do so she needed her hair done too. Crazy kids! Crazy hair! Lots of fun!

Sickly but cute!

I hate it when my kids are sick. It's just so sad! But there is a teeny part of their being sick that I like. And that is the snuggly and cuddly and cute part! Poor kids! But they let me snuggle them!

Brother Birthday Bash!

Last Sunday we had a family party and I'd like to thank my brothers for having birthdays so that we could get together and celebrate!
We had lots of yummy food, fun with family and super cute neices and nephews! But the best party was this:

That's right! Chris and Danny got "Snuggies" for their birthdays! Don't they look handsome?

Small, Dark and Handsome!

Check out Isaac's black hair! After coloring a friend's hair I had extra black color. Isaac begged for it and I thought, "why not?" It will grow out in 3 weeks anyway!

And after much convincing I agreed to put one tiny red piece in Daisey's hair. Oh yeah! How cool is she?!

When Daisey Aint Happy, Aint Nobody Happy!

Daisey is sick. Cough, sore throat, fever, tummy ache, fever sick. We feel bad for her. And to be honest she hasn't been too grumpy, she's just sad that she's sick.
I hate it when my kids get sick! It's tough when they're babies and it's still tough when they get older. It's so hard to see them hurting and all I want to do is take good care of them and make it all better. I wish I could take it away and be sick for her. Poor baby!

It's All Fun and Games Until Someone Chips a Tooth!

I'm always telling these little monkeys that rough housing leads to accidents. But what do I know? I'm just the mom!
Earlier this week they were all chasing each other around a circle down the hall, through the dining room and down the hall again. That circle drives me crazy!
In the midst of the running and screaming and laughing Daisey flew in to the wall face first and chipped the corner of her front tooth off.
I didn't get a before pic but here she is after her dentist appointment. All better.

The Foamerator!

Yes, I know it's no longer summer but we're still trying to squeeze in as much outdoor fun as we can!
I found this awesome idea on this awesome blog and it's just too fun not to share!
Water bottles + wash cloths + rubber bands + bubble soap = fantastical fun in foam form! Say that 5 times fast!

Oh yeah, one helpful hint...remind your kids to blow out, not suck in! No one likes a mouthful of bubbles! Now go outside and play while you still can!
