Mr. Ho Ho

Mr. Ho Ho, treasured member of the D.I.M. family, was involved in a horrific accident and passed away shortly thereafter. Foul play has not been ruled out, awaiting a final report from the medical examiners office. His injuries include, but are not limited to, a dismembered foot and boot, a large fissure up his side and back and scratch marks and bruises that could be interpreted as self defense wounds.
Mr Ho Ho entered our lives on Robert’s 22nd birthday as a gift from Brittany. He immediately filled a void in our garden and our hearts. Daisey was 1 ½ years old at the time and became greatly attached to him, and was primarily responsible for naming him. He lived out his years as a dutiful guardian of the D.I.M. gardens and was a good gnome.
His favorite pastimes were to: ringing the doorbell, waving to casual passersby, smiling, and standing really, really still.
Isaac, eyewitness to the accident, reports that a “little boy” may have thrown Mr. Ho Ho, which directly resulted in the fatal wounds. Be alert, this “little boy” is at large on the loose and could continue on this violent garden gnome killing spree. Vigilance is the order of the day.
Mr. Ho Ho you will be greatly missed. Your wining smile will no longer brighten our garden, but will forever warm our hearts.

Maggie and the scissors incident

Maggie's hair makes Mommy sad! Last week my 2 year old walks up to me with a handful of hair and says, "Hair. Sowwy Mama." I wanted to cry! My other 2 have never attempted this (knocking on wood as I type!!) Somehow I thought that Maggie would follow suit and remember that Mommy is the only one in this house that can cut hair! But, it was not to be.

As you can see, she cut her bangs right off. I attempted to fix the damage by bringing more hair foward. I've done all I can do, and I won't lie.....it doesn't look good.

It could have been worse. It's only hair. It will grow back.

All in all, the daughter is still cute. She's too cute to not be forgiven. We think we'll keep her.
