It's where fun is!
At least that's what I've heard! But, I must say that Lagoon before kids is a heck of a lot different than life after kids! We spent all day at Utah's fun filled theme park yesterday, but there were no exhilarating roller coaster rides for mom and dad or romantic moments on the ferris wheel. We have apparently traded those days in for waiting in long lines full of screaming children in the raging summer heat while cursing our aching feet and enjoying the mixture of smells that go along with the theme park. However, it's all worth it when you see your children's smiling faces as they wave to you from their exciting kiddie rides!
Daisey was old enough this year to go on some of the "big rides" with Valerie. She felt very grown up and now wants to spend her entire summer at Lagoon!
Isaac was a bit on the nervous side and preferred watching the other kids enjoy the rides rather than riding them himself. That's not like our little man cub! He did however enjoy the carousel and the train ride.
Maggie couldn't get enough of Lagoon! She ran from ride to ride until she crashed!
All in all. it was a long day, but a good day!
Oh yeah, we forgot our camera! Dangit!
