After they got home Daisey went on and on about her day giving me every little detail.
Isaac said, "It was good. There were nachos." Ha ha! He reminds me of his dad!
Every year I like to make them a "back to school treat". It all started with the school bus cake when Daisey started kindergarten. Now it's something they look forward to and it makes the first day special.
This year's idea came from Woman's Day. It's not quite the same, but you get the idea.
Our's says "Happy School Year Daisey (and) Isaac. They were thrilled!
Maggie helped. Here is her creation for Daddy!

my mom would always have homemade cookies waiting for us after our first day of school...so i totally like your idea. so cute!
